Hello! My name is Ashley Shope.

Photography has always been a secret passion of mine.

My grandmother was a studio portrait photographer in the 70s and passed along her knowledge (along with some of her film cameras) to me.

In my senior year of high school I was finally able to get into the photography class, which only used film cameras. There I gained my knowledge of the more intricate parts about how cameras work.

I've had a camera in my hand since I was in elementary school. The first portrait sessions I did were senior portraits for my friends in high school, and I have intermittently been taking photographs since.
